Erik Nord is partner and chairman of Nord & Bremtun AS – Cyber Security Advisors.
Nord has previously been CEO of Telenor Media & Content Services, Deputy CEO of Telenor Broadcast Holding and Vice President of Telenor Group Communications. In the latter position, he was in charge of the department’s emergency preparedness, helping to implement cyber security plans for Telenor’s businesses globally and handling unwanted incidents. From 2007 to 2012, Nord CEO was in Telenor Media & Content Services AS, which was responsible for managing several of Telenor’s ownership positions in media, content and television distribution, and was Chairman of the ABC Start page, Amedia, NTV / RiksTV and board member of TV2 Zebra. Nord was also Deputy Managing Director of Telenor Broadcast Holding from 2000 to 2007 and helped build this business area within Telenor.
Prior to this he was editor in Aftenposten and partner in the PR agency Geelmuyden Kiese AS. He helped establish SKUP and was the foundation’s first manager.
He has more than 20 years of management experience from the telecom, media and communications industries. Erik Nord graduated as cand.oecon from the University of Oslo and is currently chairman of the Fossumkollektivet, Maritimt Forlag og Fagpressen.
Jørn Bremtun is partner and managing director of Nord & Bremtun AS – Cyber Security Advisors.
Bremtun has over 20 years of communication and media experience, and especially from IT, telecom, aviation and energy industries. He last came from the position as Vice President Corporate Communications in EVRY. At EVRY he had responsibility for the CEO’s communication agenda and strategic communications initiatives. Previously, he held positions as senior advisor in Telenor Norway at the CEO Office and as senior advisor and press officer in Avinor. Bremtun has been in charge of media relations, public affairs, regulatory issues, communication and crisis plans. In Telenor Norway he was an operational communications officer in the crisis staff.
From 1998 to 2006, Bremtun was partner and special adviser in the PR agency Geelmuyden Kiese and was head of the agency’s practice within strategic and financial communications. He has broad experience from crisis exercises and handling of several major crises with national attention. By the transition to year 2000 he was part of a crisis preparedness team established by the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection (DSB). At the start of his career Bremtun was journalist with Computerworld and freelance journalist at Dagens Næringsliv.
Jørn Bremtun conducted military first-time service at the Defence Command North Norway, and holds a degree in business administration and economics (“siviløkonom”) from BI Norwegian Business School (1995) and authorized financial analyst from NHH Norwegian School of Economics/AFF (2003). Bremtun is member of the board of the Norwegian Polytechnic Society.
